Rhea has a B.A. degree from the Ivy League, University of Pennsylvania (UPENN), U.S, and has previously worked with some prominent establishments in the corporate world across management consulting, public relations, and retail.

Rhea is also a four-time Indian Junior National Squash Champion. She represented India internationally from the age of 11, winning tournaments across Asia, Europe, and the United States. She has also represented India at the Asian Junior Squash Championship and Pre-Common Wealth Games. Her highest rank in squash was 3rd, in the European rankings, which was considered a global ranking in the juniors category.

She went on to represent UPENN in squash and was awarded the All-American title, given to top players in the USA.

After being in the corporate world for 7 years, and a part of her family business, Bhandare Eyecare, Mumbai’s leading optical retailer for over 90 years. In early 2017, Rhea followed her passion for entrepreneurship and sports to build her own sports management company.

Her focus has been to give more people access to sports, promote healthy living and develop the game of squash across the nation and worldwide.
